WELCOME TO FALL SEMESTER 2021.
Syllabi for all classes are up. As of this typing we are planning on a "normal" year. Hopefully this will happen, I am very excited to get kids back in the building. We will have challenges this year, but we can handle anything together.
I have been fortunate enough to have taught most math courses from Math Money Management to Discrete Math to AP Calculus and AP Statistics (I think probably Statistics is my favorite)
In many years of teaching I have learned that
- Most students are really decent at math if they work at it
- if most students avoid short cuts, practice skills and try and see the big picture of what you are learning, math is really not too difficult and can even by lots of fun. :) All of the math is related, domain and range in Algebra uses the exact same concepts in Pre-Calculus. The unit circle is really just a graph of sine and cosine curve. The normal curve is Statistics is derived from curve sketching and inflection points in Calculus etc.
- Two words: Attitude and Effort.
